Recent developments in horizontal continuous casting area at the Boschgotthardshütte steelshop of Siegen (FRG)
Une machine de coulée continue horizontale à une seule ligne a été mise en exploitation à l'usine de Boschgotthardshütte à Siegen (RFA) en juin 1980. Au cours des années, cette installation a subi un certain nombre de modifications reflétant l’état de l’art de la technique avec l’objectif de la rendre totalement opérationnelle.
Compte tenu de l’expérience et des résultats d’exploitation obtenus, Mannesmann Demag Hüttentechnik s’est vu attribuer des marchés pour la réalisation de trois autres installations de coulées continues horizontales.
