Copyright and license agreement

Copyright on any article in the Metallurgical Research& Technology is transferred to EDP Sciences (for U.S. government employee: to the extent transferable) and effective when the article is accepted for publication. The copyright transfer covers the exclusive right to reproduce, distribute and sell the article, including reprints, translations, photographic reproductions, electronic form (offline, online) or any other reproductions of similar nature. Authors can make their article, published by EDP Sciences, available on their personal site, their institution’s web site and Open Archive Initiative sites, provided the source of the published article is cited and the ownership of the copyright clearly mentioned. These must be not for profit sites. Reprint and postprint may be used (with the publisher’s PDF). Authors are requested to create a link to the publisher’s internet service. The link must be accompanied by the following text “The original publication is available at : www.metallurgical-research.org”. The Author warrants that this contribution is original and he has full power to make this grant. The author signs for and accepts responsibility for realizing this material on behalf of any and all co-authors.

License agreement

In case the Authors choose the Open Access Option, the copyright of the article is retained by the author(s) under the Creative Commons license, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction provided the original work is properly cited.

Authors grant EDP Sciences a license to publish the article and identify EDP Sciences as the original publisher.

Permission to reuse

All requests for permission to use and/or reproduce copyrighted material from EDP Sciences journals and books should be sent to the EDP Sciences Copyright Department:

  1. title of EDP Sciences work;
  2. full bibliographical reference;
  3. what material will be used (full paper, figures, tables, etc.);
  4. where it will be reused.
