Report on the 1990 Continuous Casting seminar at Trinec
Rapport sur le séminaire 1990 de coulée continue à Trinec
This international seminar on « Continuous Casting of Steel » was held on December 06/07, 1990 at Trinec, CSFR. A major purpose has been to review the first year's experience of the five-strand bloom caster at Trinec Iron and Steel Works. Accordingly, operational results and product properties were described in eight papers. Further contributions in seven papers by foreign speakers were presented in support. After the previous conference one year earlier, this was another opportunity to promote continuous casting technology by the improved East-West interchange of information and experience.
