Operating experience with a new software for laser measurement of refractory linings of metallurgical transfer and reaction vessels*
Résultats d'utilisation d'un nouveau logiciel pour la mesure par laser des garnissages réfractaires des réacteurs métallurgiques
The tachymeters must be regarded as a new generation of measuring instruments because they are able to simultaneously measure all three coordinates of a point with great accuracy. Their usefulness is further enhanced by a software that does not restrict the capabilities of the instrument but rather expands them.
The new software for the RTF 03 tachymeter (an instrument for the laser-optical measurement of the refractory linings of metallurgical reaction and transfer vessels) is presented and the operating experience with this software described.
