Influence of some casting parameters on the behaviour of high-carbon steels for tires during drawing operations
Influence de certains paramètres de coulée sur le comportement d’aciers à haute teneur en carbone pour pneumatiques pendant des opérations de tréfilage
This work is aimed at stressing the relationship between casting parameters, casting rate and secondary cooling rate, and the behaviour of high-C steels during drawing operations.
Appropriate combinations of such parameters were tested and compared to drawing results, especially to the kilograms drawn before breaking.
