Abstract

The application of exhaust gas recirculation technology which can drastically decrease the volume of exhaust gas from the stack was studied at Tobata No. 3 sinter plant as basic technology to respond to environmental control which will become more and more strict in the future. This report describes the specification of the exhaust gas recirculation equipment installed at the Tobata No. 3 sinter plant and the operating resuit before and after the installation of the equipment.
