Microstructural formation, deformation behaviour and deformability of heat treatment steels in the two-phase region
Formation de la microstructure, comportement mécanique et déformabilité d’aciers de traitement thermique dans le domaine biphasé
This article is a contribution to the clarification and assessment of the influence of forming in the two-phase (γ-α) region on the transformation behaviour and the special features of microstructural formation in the intercritical region. A further objective is the investigation of the deformation behaviour and deformability in the (γ-α) region, including differences with respect to the deformation processes in the austenitic region. Investigations were conducted for two heat treatment steel grades by means of a deformation dilatometer and a torsion plastometer.
