Optimization of scrap charge in terms of impurity requirements of produced steel
The aim of the research is to produce an algorithm for scrap quality determination which can be on-line integrated in the combined process model. The method combines simple metallurgical relationships for residual elements with complete reduction in steel and complex distribution based assemblages for some other elements.
