Tramp elements and steel properties : a progress state of the European project on scrap recycling*
Les éléments résiduels et les propriétés des aciers : état d'avancement du projet européen sur le recyclage des ferrailles
Promoted by the European Steel Industry under the sponsorship of ECSC, the multinational megaproject on “Scrap recycling for high quality products” aims particularly at a clear quantitative assessment of the effects of the tramp elements on the steel properties. The most relevant results gained at the two thirds of the research are overviewed with information concerning as well flat as long products.
