Pilot line for electroplating : design and first results*
Ligne pilote d'électrozingage : conception et premiers résultats
A laboratory-scale continuous electroplating line has been set up to simulate the process engineering in the production shop. The flow conditions in the plating cell are comparable with those in the production shop, which guarantees the applicability of the test results. The pilot line permits the modification of the plating parameters within broad limits.
The first test results are presented, taking the example of electrolytically deposited pure zinc, ZnNi and ZnFe coatings.
