Quantitative analysis of zinc and zinc alloy coatings on steel
Coating weight and coating composition are important parameters for characterizing zinc coatings. Several standard methods describe procedures for determining the coating weight, but most of them are restricted to pure zinc coatings.
In the present research work, four standard methods for determining the coating weight by means of chemical stripping, were investigated for pure zinc coatings and zinc alloy coatings.
