Microstructure and deformation properties of galvannealed coatings on Ti-IF steels
Microstructure et proprietés du revêtement galvannealed sur l’acier Ti-IF
The properties of galvannealed sheet relevant to deformation processes were analysed in the rang of 1-17 wt-% Fe in the coating. An optimal galvannealed coating composition range could be defined. It corresponds to a marginally alloyed coating. The surface should consist of zeta-phase crystals. A small residue of eta-phase is believed to be beneficial.
