Production of coke for blast furnace by medium temperature carbonization process *
Production du coke sidérurgique par cokéfaction à température modérée
Experiments on coke carbonization at lower temperatures than in conventional process and its use in blast furnace are reported.
Coke produced at medium temperature (600 to 900 °C) can be used in blast furnace under heat treatment conditions and a strong heat transfer in the wall chamber thanks to high thermal conductivity or to thinner wall.
