Granulation characteristics of iron ore fines for hybrid pelletized sinter process*
Caractéristiques des fines de minerai de fer dans le procédé HPS
Hybrid Pelletized Sinter (HPS process) has been developed in order to achieve both using a large amount of fine ores which cannot be used in ordinary sinter process and improving qualities of the products in comparison with those of conventional agglomerates. The following results were obtained in the development and operation of the HPS commercial plants.
