Advanced energy saving technology developed at sintering plants of Kashima steel works*
Technologies mises en œuvre aux chaînes d’agglomération de l’usine de Kashima pour économiser l’énergie
Sumitomo has developed a programme of energy savings at the Kashima sintering plants. By improving the granulation method, the burners, the control model, the waste heat recovery and the precipitators, a gain of 33.2 Mcal/t of sinter is achieved.
