Challenge to the highest PC rate operating at Fukuyama No. 4 BF*
Le défi d'une marche à taux d'injection de charbon très élevé au haut-fourneau n° 4 de Fukuyama.
Fukuyama No. 4 blast furnace has been operated at 230 kg/t PCR and carried a stable monthly operation of 218 kg/t. This was achieved thanks to the use of eccentric double lances with high combustion efficiency and the use of Hybrid Pelletized Sinter with superior reducibility and melting characteristics. This setting brought a reduction in fine coke ratio in the deadman and improved permeability. The next evolution is to achieve a PCR of 250-300 kg/t.
