High productivity blast furnace operation at Nagoya works*
Marche à haute productivité des hauts fourneaux de l'usine de Nagoya
The two blast furnaces of Nagoya works have reached a high and stable rate of production (over 2.6 t/d.m3). That is due to :
- –
improvement of burden quality, especially in sinter ;
- –
adjustment of burden distribution ;
- –
increase of gas heat flow ratio and high PCR (pulverized coal rate) ;
- –
use of an expert system for operation and equipment control.
