Ecological and economical measures for LD-steel production at the Linz Works. Dust recycling and converter gas recovery*
Mesures d'ordre écologique et économique pour la production d'acier LD aux usines de Linz. Recyclage des poussières et récupération des gaz de convertisseurs
To reduce LD-dust emissions and dust quantities to be disposed and respectively to produce Zn-concentrate for external use, in the LD-shop of the Linz Works a new dust collection and recycling system connected with converter gas recovery has been installed. A general view of the new installations and the aspects of dust recycling, metallurgical effects and implementations belonging to environment are given.
