The severe requirements of tight tolerances for ultra-thin hot rolled strips need innovative equipment to be installed on the hot strip mill, as well as powerful and effective actuators for profile and flatness control. Danieli United has developed a new concept of rolling stand : the f2CR™ stand that permits to cross and shift the rolls in dynamic conditions while rolling.
