A new heating system and general design considerations for large capacity coke ovens designed for integrated steel plants*
Un nouveau système de chauffage des fours à coke conçu pour une cokerie sidérurgique
The new heating system is designated to meet the particular requirements for coke oven units in integrated steel plants. Because today’s large capacity coke ovens do not give satisfying answers to all of these demands, the new heating system offers some solutions. For example, it is now possible to individually manipulate one single oven without interference with the neighbouring oven performance.
