The Shinseiko Project : a new environment friendly steelmaking route based on scrap*
Le projet Shinseiko : une nouvelle filière de production d'acier basée sur la ferraille
The Shinseiko project, a national project of Japan, aims at proposing radically innovative solutions for the production of high quality steel from scrap under environment friendly conditions. On the hot end of this route, the developments concern scrap preparation and melting as well as the removal of residuals from liquid steel.
