The status of ISP at the Arvedi Works, Cremona, Italy*
Situation de marche de l'usine ISP d'Arvedi Cremona
This mini-mill is designed for the production of 500,000 tpy of quality hot strip. The facilities and production process are described. Various steel grades and qualities can be produced in thicknesses down to 1.5 mm. The surface quality of the strip is approaching that of classical strip. An increasing proportion of hot strip is suitable for the transformation into rather demanding qualities of cold rolled strip.
