Outline of quality assurance systems of No. 2 continuous annealing line at Kashima Works*
Présentation des systèmes d’assurance qualité au recuit continu n° 2 de l’usine de Kashima
The continuous annealing line No. 2 (2 KAP) started running commercially in May 1992 to produce high quality steel sheets. In order to meet customer demand and improve sheet quality, not only conventional quality assurance devices but also newly developed ones, such as on-line Lankford value monitoring systems, new radiation thermometer, ultrasonic testing systems and surface inspection systems, were installed.
