Blast furnace operation with small- size sinter by the control of radial particle size distribution*
Utilisation d'aggloméré de faible granulométrie au haut-fourneau grâce à la maîtrise de la répartition radiale des particules en fonction de leur taille
At Kakogawa Works, application of small-size sinter ore has been investigated to improve sinter productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.
Under operating conditions of high pulverized coal rate, burden distribution adjusted to small-size sinter application has enabled reduction of the mesh of sintering plant screen and blast furnace ore bin screen to 33 mm with keeping high productivity.
