Retrofitting of the CONSTEEL® process at ORI Martin SpA of Brescia*
Amélioration du procédé CONSTEEL® à l’aciérie d’ORI Martin SpA à Brescia
The project, which is described in detail, shows that even in the case of a rather new technology, it is possible to carry out major equipment transformations in a limited time despite of severe constraints. CONSTEEL® technology was chosen, since it was a good way of reducing processing costs and improving the environmental impact of the meltshop and corresponded to a very attractive return of investment.
